2nd Team Posts: 11 Feb 26 08 4:29 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I am cognisant of people needing to rank , however , why do we not postpone these rankings until pre -district games / scrimmages are complete and coaches have rendered their decisions regarding their starting lineups . Until such time these rankings are meaningless and not an accurate bellweather .

Some good hitting, some good pitching and, at times, some bad fielding. Both teams seemed to trot out pitcher after pitcher. A game that Fair let get away from 8-5 to 15-8. CP almost gave the game away in the 7th. Close but no cigar for Woody's bunch.

I've read his post several times and the only thing that really stands out is the fact that he misspelled the words cognizant and bellwether. Marty is currently "unsigned" and for that matter "unrecruited", which really boggles my mind. I am sure that he wil play at the next level. He has touched 90+ this year and really learned to be a pitcher as he mixes in his off-speed stuff real well now as in times past he tried to just blow his FB by and it didn't work out.

It looks like the 2-4 spots are there for the taking by any of the 2-6 teams. This has been a very close race all year, and has been fun to watch.

If it ended today, how would we know the 2-4 seeds? Coin flip? And in the event of a two-way tie for 4th - is it settled by head to head competition or is there a one game playoff?

They may have to reach deep into the play book for this one. There are some other district races that may face the same situations as us.
